Help/FAQs
Why is the site so dark?
The default colors of the pages are dark so that the photos you upload to the site catch the viewer's attention. Also, we try to minimize the "jazziness" of the user-interface as much as possible.
But, for some type of photographs a light colored user-interface may be better suited. You could change the appearance by going to my profile > look and feel link.

How are photos organized?
  • Hierarchy: Album > Page > Photos
  • An album contains any number of pages
  • A page contains any number of photos

How are photos shared?
There are three levels of sharing at the page level.
  • "promote"ing a page: Promoting a page makes the page appear in your "Home" album. Any pages that were promoted to your "Home" album or directly created on the "Home" album are visible to the public: i.e. the dreamyreflections.com home page will show a link to your "Home" album.
  • "get-link"ing a page: when you get a link to any page, you really create a unique URL (a web address) that only you know about, and is likely not easy to guess. So, unless you email this address to your friends they may not know about it. They don't have to login to dreamyreflections.com. All they need is just the URL. Note, the page is not private any more and the reason is this: the friend that gets the URL can choose to send the URL to anyone they choose to.
  • "share"ing a page: Sharing probably offers the best control. When you share and notify your friends, they have to login to see the photos you shared.
  • If you didn't do any of the above, your page and photos are private --as long as they are not part of the "Home" album.
  • In all the cases the photos you have hidden using the "hide" link, will not be visible to anyone. And this includes you!. To see the hidden photos you can go to "edit" mode where the hidden photos appear with a yellow border around them and the photos themselves are dimmed.

Why my photos don't appear at http://www.dreamyreflections.com home page?
  • Chances are you have updated in the last 24 hours. We update the http://www.dreamyreflections.com page once every 24 hours.
  • Sometimes, we block certain users from "promote"-ing their photos because we suspect the photos were "adult-rated", offensive, or not suitable for viewing by the general public.

Why my photos disappeared from the home page suddenly?
  • Most likely one of our moderators decided some of your photos were "adult-rated" and had put a "block". Once you remove those based on your judgment you can email us at support AT devicereach DOT com, and we will be happy to remove the "block".

I have a question that I did not find here. What do I do?
